Available: March 7th 2023 Moominpappa will receive a third mug in the spring of 2023, this time in grey. The mug will be part of the ongoing production and the Arabia's Moomin classic mug series. The illustration on this mug features Moominpappa preparing the Moominhouse for winter so that the cold won't catch them by surprise during their hibernation. He is patching the windows with boards and carrying firewood into the house. The grey Moominpappa tableware collection includes a mug, bowl, and plate. The illustrations are based on Tove Jansson's comic Moominwinter from 1959. The background color of the mug is a subtle grey, with muted yellow tones in the details.

Hvem designer illustrasjonene for Mummikrusene?
Tove Slotte, født i 1957, er en finsk kunstner og grafisk designer. Hun er en profesjonell keramiker. Tove Slotte jobbet ved Arabia fra 1985 til 1990, etter dette har hun jobbet som frilansdesigner. Hun er best kjent for å designe og illustrere Mummi-produkter for Iittala og Arabia keramikk. Tove Slotte har vært en Mummi-fan siden barndommen. Hun sier at hennes favoritt Mummi-bok er Boken om Mummi, Mymlen og Lille My. Tove Slotte har designet Mummi-produktene for Arabia i mer enn 30 år.
