Mug Constable also known as the Inspector was launched in 2009 and the production was discontinued in 2020. Production of the bowl with the same design was discontinued earlier, in 2015. The original images for the mug are found in Tove and Lars Janssons’ comic #16 Conscientious Moomin and #21 Fuddler’s Courtship. In the bright green mug the Inspector is seen taking care of his flowers. The Inspector is one of the Hemulens, so horticulture is a natural hobby for him.

Hvem designer illustrasjonene for Mummikrusene?
Tove Slotte, født i 1957, er en finsk kunstner og grafisk designer. Hun er en profesjonell keramiker. Tove Slotte jobbet ved Arabia fra 1985 til 1990, etter dette har hun jobbet som frilansdesigner. Hun er best kjent for å designe og illustrere Mummi-produkter for Iittala og Arabia keramikk. Tove Slotte har vært en Mummi-fan siden barndommen. Hun sier at hennes favoritt Mummi-bok er Boken om Mummi, Mymlen og Lille My. Tove Slotte har designet Mummi-produktene for Arabia i mer enn 30 år.
