Familien (2004–2010)

The bowl Family was released in 2004 and the production was discontinued in 2010. Instead of one character, Tove Slotte designed the bowl with multiple Moomin characters. The most noticeable difference between the bowl and the original images is the garland, removed from Moomimamma’s image by Tove Slotte. The original artwork is found in Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic #17 Moomin and the Comet, Tove Jansson’s novel Moominland Midwinter and comic #8 Moomin Begins a New Life, as well as Lars Jansson’s comic #70 Moominpappa and Old Age.
