Bowl Hemulen was released in 2005 and the production was discontinued in 2013. Tove Slotte found the fitting images from Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic #16 Conscientious Moomin. In the lilac bowl Hemulen is pictured in one of his favourite hobbies: Studying insects with his magnifying glass. The image is from Tove Jansson’s first novel Comet in Moominland. In the other picture Hemulen is also doing his research, whereas in the original image he is by his desk, writing.
