The 2008 seasonal summer bowl is called On the Beach, and it’s the third bowl released for a summer season. A mug with similar design was released at the same time. In the artwork on both sides of the bowl Snorkmaiden is seen strolling on the beach in her bikini and carrying a parasol. Designer Tove Slotte found the original images from Tove Jansson’s comic #3 Moomin on the Riviera. Seasonal stickers have been used in the bowl since 2006.
