Friends Forever (2025–)

The Friends Forever Moomin bowl is a brand-new release for 2025 and will become part of the permanent collection. Traditionally, early-year releases have featured bowls highlighting individual characters, but this time, the new additions to the permanent collection depict multiple familiar characters together. The Friends Forever tableware series includes a mug, a bowl, a plate, a small plate, a pitcher, a serving bowl, and a cookie jar. Each item in the series features an elegant Moomin 80 anniversary stamp on the bottom. The illustration on this tableware set is based on the comic strip Moomintroll and a Sense of Duty (1958) by Tove and Lars Jansson, in which the Moomins try to adapt to conventional and socially accepted ways of life. Eventually, they realize that a good life consists of what brings happiness and shared moments with family and friends. The story of Snufkin, Moomintroll, and Little My continues in other illustrations, where they are seen climbing trees and spending time in the meadow.
