In celebration of 70 years of Moomins, Arabia launched a mug called Moominhouse. Although it is a special mug, it’s still in production. Pattern designer Tove Slotte had made drafts of two- and three-storey houses, and the version with three storeys was chosen for production. Slotte also experimented and made a little paper roof for the mug. At Arabia they found it a brilliant idea, and the house mugs are currently sold with decorative, little cardboard roofs.
