Family -plate was released in 2004 and the production was discontinued in 2007. The illustration of the plate was designed by Tove Slotte. The original artworks are from Tove and Lars Jansson’s comic #17 Moomin and the Comet, Tove Jansson’s novel Moominland Midwinter and comic #8 Moomin Begins a New Life, as well as Lars Jansson’s comic #70 Moominpappa and Old Age. This plate was manufactured only with 2-sided illustration. The 19 cm plate is from the Teema collection designed by Kaj Franck.
